Summary:
This position provides administrative support to the CEO and leadership team of the hospital.
In addition to typing, filing, scheduling, performs duties such as financial record keeping, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings, working on special projects.
Also, answers non-routine correspondence and may assembles highly confidential and sensitive information.
Deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, recommends changes in office practices or procedures.
Responsibilities:
Manages routine operations and special projects for the hospital as assigned.
Handles all correspondence for the leadership teamAssists CEO in all assigned administrative duties.
Provides clerical support and completes special projects for the Medical Director, Committee Chairs and Medical Staff.
Maintains and secures files for Medical Staff Credentials.
Has lead responsibility for acquisitions of all information required in the process of credentialing an applicant physician as needed.
Makes sure a physician's credential file is complete prior to presentation to the Credentials Committee or Medical Staff Executive Committee as neededMaintains confidentiality and confidential information.
Records, transcribes, and types memos and/or minutes relevant to meetings and committees.
Keeps calendar and schedules meetings as assigned.
Types and distributes any necessary letters, memos, and statistical reports.
Coordinates the flow of informationAnswers the telephone, screens calls, and refers to individuals appropriatelyMaintains and promotes positive image of the facilityQualificationsHS Diploma/GED required; College level education preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare setting preferredMust have experience in handling confidential information.
Extensive knowledge of office administrative duties.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
